Infection Control

Infection control is very important. Critically ill patients are more susceptible to infection, so to prevent the spread of infection, please wash your hands or use waterless cleanser before and after patient contact. Patients may have isolation precautions. Visitors may need to wear gowns, gloves or masks if they are touching the patient. This is to help prevent the spread of germs. If you are ill, please speak to the nurse prior to visiting. You should refrain from visiting if you are unwell.
