(LONDON, Ontario) – The need for blood products in the city of London is ongoing, and patients undergoing treatment for illnesses and injuries such as cancer, surgery, and trauma depend on a stable supply of blood year-round. Nearly every single blood donation collected by Canadian Blood Services in the London region is used to treat patients at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph’s Health Care London (St. Joseph’s).

Media are invited to attend a special event and photo opportunity where the Presidents and CEOs of LHSC and St. Joseph’s will announce a new partnership with Canadian Blood Services:

Date: Tuesday, March 27
Time: 10:30 am
Location:

Canadian Blood Services headquarters

840 Commissioners Road East

Opportunities for one-on-one interviews will be available, as well as photo opportunities with staff from LHSC and St. Joseph’s as they demonstrate their commitment to blood donation.
