Police on scene at LHSC’s Victoria Hospital

(LONDON, Ontario) - London Police Services remain on site at LHSC’s Victoria Hospital in search of a suspicious person. Currently the London Regional Cancer Program is in lock-down.

For precautionary measures police have now advised that all staff, patients and visitors entering or exiting Victoria Hospital will need to do so through Westminster Tower (Zone E) main entrance. Patient services in the VH Emergency Department entrance remain open and accessible for emergency patients.

Access into the hospital is being restricted at all other entrances.

Staff are expected to report to work as scheduled and should be prepared to show their staff identification when entering the building.
