The following intravenous drug monographs are for medications commonly used in critical care. If the drug you are interested in locating is not listed below AND you are INSIDE London Health Sciences Centre, please check the LHSC Parenteral Drug Administration Index. Generic drugs are listed in lower case, trade name drugs begin with an upper case letter.
1. These monographs are to considered as addendums to the London Health Sciences (LHSC) Parenteral Drug Administration Manual (PDAM).
2. Please refer to the LHSC Infusion Compatibility Chart for information on medication compatibility or call the Pharmacy Department.
3. All IV infusions in CCTC should be infused via an infusion pump. The monographs will specifically identify medications which should not be continued as infusions should there be pump failure or extenuating circumstances.
