Bereaved Families of Ontario is a volunteer organization that provides mutual aid support to individuals who have lost a significant person to death. There are affiliate associations in many communities across Ontario. This site also offers good information about grief and loss.

Accident Benefits

  • Has your child been injured as a result of a motor vehicle collision? You may be entitled to Accident Benefits. 
  • The Financial Services Commission of Ontario regulates automobile insurance. This site provides links to all of the Accident Benefits forms and has additional information about automobile insurance as it relates to a personal injury claim
  • Navigating the insurance system can be an overwhelming task for any caregiver. We encourage families to seek consultation with a personal injury lawyer who has expertise in knowing your rights. Liver or Spleen Injury Information

Has your child had a liver or spleen injury? There are special instructions to ensure your child is as safe as possible after leaving the hospital. A nurse, doctor, or the trauma nurse case manager will discuss these instructions with you before you are discharged from the hospital.

Spinal Cord Injuries

The Canadian Paraplegic Association is an organization that offers support, linkage to resources and advocacy on issues related to spinal cord injuries and other physical  disabilities.
