34 years old
Chris was just 34 years old when he died. He was a father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
Chris coded in the Emergency Room and never regained consciousness. For three long days and nights his family prayed. We asked God for a miracle. We asked for him to be fully restored, or make a decision to take him. After the third long night, God answered our prayers. Chris was declared neurologically dead – God made the decision for us.
Because Chris had been a healthy young man, even in death, he was able to give the gift of life to four individuals. His heart, liver and both kidneys were harvested and he gave hope to four families. Our Chris died, but through organ donation, four people were given a new chance at life.
His daughter, son, brother, mother and father will always love him and miss him, but we get comfort in knowing part of him is still living on.
Through our God we find comfort and peace. We were always very proud of Chris.
Until we all meet again; so long, love you and see you soon.
Hugs and kisses from Spencer and Mackenzie.
