Ronald Hodgkinson

Rec Picture

Having spent a lifetime in the food service and concession industry, I, Ronad Hodgkinson, at the age of 68, was diagnosed to be in need of a liver transplant.

After a wait of some five and a half months, a telephone call at 4:05 a.m. on a Saturday morning, the words that I hoped to hear: “Ronald, this is Patsy, we have a liver for you” set the stage for my operation and recovery.

To the donor of my liver, Dr. C.N. Ghent and his staff, University Hospital, and in particular, Dr. Grant, I will be forever grateful.
