I am presently 18 years old and received a life-saving liver transplant as an infant for Glycogen Storage Disease Type IV. Fortunately, I have not been limited and have lived a full and healthy life thus far. I enjoy spending time with family, friends and pets, playing my electric guitar, travelling, dancing, music, sports and crafts. I am working part-time in retail and as a tutor at Fanshawe College.
This year I will be attending The University of Western Ontario to continue my studies in science, in hopes of becoming a physician. These elements are important to me and are indicated on my quilt patch. I am very appreciative for every day of my second chance at life.
