Hematology

The Department of Hematology at the London Health Sciences Centre is engaged in clinical and laboratory hematology services, research and teaching. The Department is affiliated with the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

The Division has expertise in the diagnosis, management and treatment of hematologic malignancies, thrombosis and bleeding disorders and other non-malignant hematologic conditions in adults. There is an active hematopoietic stem cell transplantation program, including both allogeneic and autologous transplant capabilities. Clinical collaboration with Laboratory Medicine and Hematopathology complement the clinical service and ensure a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis. Our clinical activities are conducted at the London Health Sciences Centre, and the Verspeeten Family Care Centre.
