When do I take my bath?
Have a bath or shower the night before and day of surgery.
What medications do I take the day of surgery?
Take the medications written in your Patient Information Same Day Admission Surgery Program pamphlet that you received in the Preadmission clinic.
What medications do I bring to the hospital with me?
Bring your puffers, study medications, eye drops, and other prescribed medications. Medications not required will be sent home with your family member or significant other.
Do I bring my cane/crutches/walker with me?
No, not day of surgery. These are provided in the hospital but you will need to bring in your crutches prior to discharge to have them adjusted and checked before your family picks you up.
