About Us

London Laboratory Services Group (LLSG) is a joint venture of London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph’s Health Care (SJHC) London, Ontario. This venture was created in September 2000 to integrate diagnostic testing for both LHSC and SJHC and for more than sixty clients. LLSG provides a comprehensive range of routine and specialized laboratory testing and clinical consultation to support diagnosis and monitor treatment of patients within London, Southwestern Ontario, nationally and internationally. In addition, LLSG provides educational training opportunities and continuing education for a broad range of health care professionals. The laboratories also support clinical and applied research carried out within:

Lawson Health Research Institute
London Regional Cancer Program
Robarts Research Institute
Siebens-Drake Research Institute

LLSG functions under a Program Management approach. The laboratories are grouped under the program Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This program has a number of disciplines and a broad range of service laboratories. A scientific/medical and a technical leader lead each laboratory section. This approach ensures the services provided are patient-focused and expert consultation is available to assist our clinical users, researchers and academic users.
