Results will be available to view in Powerchart as soon as they are verified in the computer.

Results for tests that are ordered STAT will automatically print to your network printer as soon as they are verified. It is important that STAT orders are ordered as STAT in Powerchart in order for the results to expedite to the appropriate network printer.

Critical results are automatically called to the patient care area. No other results will be phoned.

All patient care areas will have results for routine bloodwork printed daily at 0930 directly to their printers.

If you need to speak to someone in the laboratory to add on a test or for any other questions you may have, then call the Laboratory Results Hotline at extension 56495. The staff in that area will direct your call to the appropriate testing laboratory. Although all samples from Parkwood are sent to Victoria Hospital, not all of the testing will be done at that site. Laboratory staff at London Health Sciences Centre will sort and distribute samples to the appropriate locations.
