The Lazarovits Chair in Immunobiology and Transplantation, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University is seeking to recruit an innovative clinician-scientist with translational research expertise in transplant immunobiology, tissue injury and/or organ regeneration. The position will provide an opportunity for the candidate to take a lead role in Multi Organ Transplant Program research activity including a potential leadership role in the Matthew Mailing Centre for Translational Transplant Studies at London Health Sciences Centre. In addition to research leadership, the successful candidate will be expected to make contributions to the training of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students through teaching, research supervision and mentorship in their subspecialty. The successful candidate will hold a Limited Term Clinical Academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor, or a Continuing Clinical Academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be appointed to the department that most appropriately fits their expertise with a potential cross appointment in a relevant basic science department.
