Cancer Imaging Network

The Cancer Imaging Network was initiated in 2006 to bring together the diverse talents and knowledge of scientists and imagers working in separate facilities throughout London.

This citywide group of basic scientists, imaging scientists and oncology clinicians come together four times a year in a workshop forum to foster and encourage collaborative projects. Their goal is to expand cancer research at the pre-clinical, translational and clinical levels.

The workshops keep scientists apprised of imagers’ work, what new technologies they are using and in what modalities they are being used. Conversely, imagers learn who is doing the research, what research they are doing and how to contact the researchers.
