CSTAR is very proud to sponsor two speakers for the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame’s “TD Discovery Days in Health Sciences”. Dr Sumit Agrawal, Department of Otolaryngology, and Dr Tim Wilson Faculty from the the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at UWO will co-present at this years CSTAR Keynote Lecture.
TD Discovery Days in Health Sciences is a one day event, co-hosted The University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College. Approximately 450 high school students and teachers from London and area have been invited to participate in this year’s event. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the keynote speakers lectures and also participate in interactive workshops.

Canadian Surgical Technologies & Advanced Robotics (CSTAR) is the Premiere sponsor of this initiative that is offered through its partnership with London's TechAlliance. This is a program created to promote the science and biotechnology sectors to today’s bright youth while providing them with a unique hands-on experience. Cooperative Education is an experimental method of learning that provides students with an opportunity to supplement classroom theory with realistic hands-on experience in the community.
CSTAR participates in community-based fundraising events which benefit a number of programs across London. For example, CSTAR and LHSC staff coordinate the Brian DeVries Golf Classic with proceeds benefiting London Health Sciences Centre's(LHSC) Organ Donour Awareness Program. A total of $75,000 has been raised through this activity thus far.
LHSC is grateful for the support of our hundreds of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers assist LHSC through Volunteer Services, the Auxiliary, London Regional Cancer Program, and our Foundations.
