Welcome to the London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) at London Health Sciences Centre.  

 

At LRCP, we have an international reputation for excellence in patient care. As one of the largest regional cancer programs in the province, we provide thousands of patients with continuing and follow-up care, counseling and education every year.

 

We offer the most advanced treatment technology and are known for our world-class care in radiation therapy. LRCP is one of a limited number of cancer care facilities in the world to offer tomotherapy, the latest in radiation therapy equipment.

 

Our teams of health care professionals include radiation and medical oncologists, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, physicists, social workers, dieticians, pathologists and scientists. Our goal is to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care, support and information in an environment that respects their privacy, dignity, comfort and safety.

 

Our patient care and research staff are determined to find new treatments and enhance the quality of life for our patients. Our researchers are studying the causes of cancer and looking at new treatments that will provide patients the best available choices. Patient participation in a wide range of clinical trials contributes to our ability to evaluate new practices and enhance the quality of cancer care to patients in the future.

 

As a major academic centre, our program allows students, residents and fellows to learn alongside some of the best and brightest in the field.
