Recruitment Process

Various steps are taken in our recruitment process to help identify the right area for you.

Prescreening telephone call

One of our Human Resources professionals will talk with you to learn more information about your qualifications and your career interests with London Health Sciences Centre.

Personal interview(s)

Personal interviews will take place with the hiring manager or interview team.  One or more interviews may occur.

Tour

Many of our areas include a personal tour to candidates under consideration to help them understand the work area and meet some of the team members

References

References are conducted prior to a job offer being made and in some cases are completed before an interview is scheduled.  We ask your permission to talk with current and previous supervisors who can provide us with work-related references.

Police Record Check

Trust and professionalism are priorities in care delivery and are requirements of London Health Sciences Centre’s Code of Conduct and professional practice guidelines.  As part of our hiring requirements and as a condition of employment all new staff must authorize LHSC to conduct a Police Records Check for Persons Seeking Employment to Serve the Vulnerable Section of the Population. The $40.00 fee for this is paid for by the candidate and is not reimbursed by London Health Sciences Centre.  You will learn more from your Recruitment Consultant as you begin our recruitment process.
