Radiation Oncologist, London Regional Cancer Program
Assistant Professor, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Western Ontario
Dr. Alex Louie is a Radiation Oncologist at the London Health Sciences Centre and a Clinician-Scientist with the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He specializes in the treatment of thoracic cancers, skin cancers, kidney cancers, and bladder cancers.
He holds a BSc and MD from Western University (Canada), a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health, and will be receiving his PhD from the VU University Medical Center (Netherlands) in 2016. He completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the London Regional Cancer Program and is a faculty scholar of the Institute of Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES).
Dr. Louie’s research focuses on patient reported outcomes, economic evaluations, population analyses and comparative effectiveness, primarily in the context of lung cancer.
