Assistant Professor, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Western Ontario
Dr. Jeff Cao is Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University and Staff Radiation Oncologist at the London Regional Cancer Program currently treating breast, cutaneous, hematological, and hepatobiliary malignancies.
Dr. Cao obtained his BSc Honours in Pharmacology and MD from the University of Alberta. During residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Western Ontario, he served on the Board of the Professional Association of Internes and Residents of Ontario, earned his MBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business, and received the Ontario Medical Association Resident Achievement Award. He subsequently was awarded the CARO Elekta Fellowship for research at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver and also received the inaugural CPQR Fellowship with the Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy. During Fellowship, Dr. Cao served on the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology Board of Directors and was recipient of the CARO Extraordinary Contribution Award. He is currently Chair of the CARO Communications Committee and recently transitioned from the CROF Board of Directors to the role of Treasurer of the Canadian Radiation Oncology Foundation.
