Dr. Kylea Potvin


I am a medical graduate of McMaster University in 2000.  I completed my Internal Medicine at Dalhousie University in 2003 (FRCPC) and was the first resident through Medical Oncology subspecialty training program also at Dalhousie.  I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Ontario, and a consultant medical oncologist in the London Regional Cancer Program.  My tumor sites are breast, and genitourinary (prostate, bladder, testes).  I have a strong interest in education, and currently co-chair the undergraduate oncology education, as well as sit on the postgraduate education committee.  Research interests are in locally advanced breast cancer and education.  Also a Mom, and classically trained singer.
