Dr. Michael Lock, CCFP FRCP
Current Practice
Dr. Lock is a radiation oncologist whose current practice is focused on genitourinary cancers and breast cancers. His research interests include:
In addition to his role as Medical Director of the Division of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Lock was the previous leader of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Disease Site Team of the London Regional Cancer Program. In this role, Dr. Lock was involved in a successful fundraising campaign and increasing the number of trials available to patients.
Education:
Dr. Michael Lock underwent residency training in radiation oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital and at McMaster University. He also completed postgraduate training in family medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Lock went on to a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin during the inception of groundbreaking advances in radiation oncology including the development of helical tomotherapy. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Ontario and is the Medical Director & Head of the Division of Radiation Oncology, London Regional Cancer Program.
