Support Groups

London and District Myeloma Support Group

This group meets at the Church of St. Jude the first Saturday of February, April, June, September and November at 1:30 p.m.

Patients and their caregivers come together to discuss myeloma and hear presentations from knowledgeable speakers. Lectures focus on diagnosis, clinical trials, treatment options, and other topics related to living with myeloma.

London Prostate Cancer and Information Support Group

This group meets at the London Regional Cancer Program. An invited speaker makes a presentation about topics of interest to people living with prostate cancer at most meetings. Many excellent information resources are available and prostate cancer survivors talk to men who are newly diagnosed with cancer.

Men living with prostate cancer, their spouses, family members and friends are all welcome.

Cancer Support Centres

Wellspring

Wellspring is a network of centres that provide emotional, social, psychological and information support to individuals living with cancer and their families. Programs and services are free and there is no need for referral.

There is an office in London that is located at 231 Hyman Street. Wellspring also has a satellite office in Stratford, ON. that is located at 55 Downie Street.
