Cancer can bring about many physical, mental and emotional changes. At LRCP, there are many people who can help you and your family deal with these changes, including Social Workers, Dietitians, and the Spiritual Care Specialist.
If you are admitted to the LHSC Adult Oncology Unit, Social Workers, Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and the Spiritual Care Specialist are there to help you.
Supportive Care also offers various group programs. They regularly offer a cancer support group for women, and a program for parents and children.
Please contact Supportive Care to find out what groups and Programs are being offered. You can also check the Patient and Family Library for a listing of upcoming events.
No referral is necessary for most Supportive Care staff. To make an appointment call 519-685-8622.
