Inpatient Unit & Outpatient Centre

Will I need to stay overnight at the hospital for my treatment?

LRCP consists of an outpatient centre and an inpatient unit. Most patients do not need to stay overnight to have their treatment. Most treatments and tests happen in the outpatient centre during the day.

If you need to be admitted to hospital for your treatment, your oncologist will talk with you about this at your first visit. The inpatient unit is called the LHSC Adult Oncology Unit.

If you live more than 40 km from London and you need to be seen or treated at LRCP, you may be able to stay at Thameswood Lodge.
