London Regional Cancer Program at London Health Sciences Centre in collaboration with London Health Sciences Foundation appreciates the contributions of those who support our efforts in cancer care, education and research, enabling us to continue our work to improve the lives of cancer patients.

For more than a decade, London Health Sciences Foundation has inspired investment in excellence at London Health Sciences Centre. The Foundation links donors, patients, the community and health care experts – including physicians, allied professionals, researchers, staff and educators – in the pursuit of medical excellence at London Health Sciences Centre.

Investment in excellence at London Health Sciences Centre and specifically, the London Regional Cancer Program is an integral part of the cancer program’s efforts to save lives and to offer the best possible care for the people of London and Southwestern Ontario.

The generosity of our community has a tremendous impact on the important work occurring each day at London Health Sciences Centre and the London Regional Cancer Program. Below are examples of the fundraising initiatives supporting cancer care in our community:

• Each year individuals and groups hold events in London and across the region in support of cancer care. Visit our community events web site to see how you can get involved today!
• The Gold Ball is an elegant, black-tie affair benefiting the thousands of patients and families who rely on the services of the London Regional Cancer Program at London Health Sciences Centre. This event is an opportunity for London Health Sciences Foundation to promote public awareness and to inspire our community to join and support our efforts, making a difference in the lives of thousands of cancer patients and their families throughout the region.

In the 2006 fiscal year, London Health Sciences Foundation disbursed more than $16 million to the hospital in support of new facilities, research and education, equipment, and frontline patient care.

Be it a state-of-the-art facility providing the highest level of care, or groundbreaking research into the prevention and treatment of cancer – the generosity of supporters like you truly, makes a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

You can make a difference! To support cancer care at the London Regional Cancer Program, pledge cards and envelopes are available at the Reception Area of the cancer centre or click here to make an online donation. Please remember to indicate your gift designation in the space marked “My gift is to be used for…” on the pledge card, or include a note indicating your wishes with your donation. Your preferred area of support will be noted on your charitable receipt for your convenience.
