After achieving the most blood donations and winning the Canadian Blood Services (CBS) Hospital Challenge in 2024, London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is back and ready to roll up its sleeves to support patients in need. This year, our goal is to donate 150 units of blood to support our patients and keep the first-place trophy in London.
Blood plays a critical role in everyday medical care at LHSC. It’s essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. That’s why LHSC is proud to participate in the 16th annual Canadian Blood Services (CBS) Hospital Challenge, running now until October 31. We need your help to reach our goal and continue making a life-saving difference.
Anyone can donate blood on behalf of LHSC.
Whether you're a staff member, physician, learner, volunteer, or community member, simply join the LHSC team, check your eligibility on the Canadian Blood Services website, and schedule an appointment. Many options are available at convenient locations across London and Middlesex County, including the Canadian Blood Services donation centre at 820 Wharncliffe Road South in London.
We’re counting on you to donate. Please join us in meeting our goal of donating 150 units of blood by October 31.
London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is a proud member of the Canadian Blood Services (CBS) Partners for Life program.
