Momentum is built one step at a time, through purposeful action, collective effort, and a shared commitment to something greater. As we reflect on the past year at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), we are reminded of how much we achieved in 12 months.
Our 2024/2025 Annual Report captures a transformative period for LHSC – one marked by challenges, but also resilience, innovation, and momentum. Over the past year, we’ve continued to strengthen our foundation for the future. We launched our Community Advisory Committee to help guide us, announced expansions for our Children’s Hospital Emergency Department and Nazem Kadri Surgical Centre, and launched London Health Sciences Centre Research Institute (LHSCRI). We also found new ways to connect with our community through our Community Update Meetings, and we introduced our Great Moments recognition program. Through it all, we continued to drive forward innovations in care, teaching, and research.
That's why this report is more than a look back – it’s a signal of where we’re headed. It’s about the energy and commitment our team brings every day that fuels our progress and defines our future.
While this past week has been a difficult one for our organization, the stories in this report highlight who we truly are on Team LHSC. From leading clinical trials to implementing operational improvements, this report is a snapshot of a hospital in motion.
