London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is pleased to offer patients expanded easy access to their digital diagnostic images, as PocketHealth now includes cardiac ultrasound images and reports that are completed at LHSC.

PocketHealth is an optional fee-based service that was originally launched at LHSC in 2019, offering patients access to view their medical imaging. Expanding this digital service to now include cardiac ultrasound imaging and reports is one of the ways we are meeting our goal of using technology to expand access to health information for the patients we serve.

Patients who are already enrolled in PocketHealth will automatically have access to any future cardiac ultrasound imaging and reports completed at LHSC.

For those who may be interested in enrolling, here’s how it works:

  • Patients can choose to enroll for access online with PocketHealth. Subscription pricing is available.
  • Patients who choose to enroll with PocketHealth will have their medical and cardiac ultrasound images and reports stored permanently and readily accessible at any time, from any device in a single location.
  • PocketHealth notes their strong privacy and encryption protocols ensure personal health information is secure.

For awareness: Please note that we are proud to offer our patients choice when it comes to securely accessing personal health information and there are additional options available. These options have varying capabilities and fees, including some at no cost.
