Join us for the LHSC 150 Retiree Tea

As part of London Health Sciences Centre’s (LHSC) 150th anniversary celebrations, we are delighted to invite retirees to a celebratory tea on Thursday, August 28 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at Victoria Hospital and Children’s Hospital.

“This tea is a chance to thank and celebrate the incredible people who have contributed to LHSC’s history,” says Deborah Wiseman, LHSC 150 Co-Executive Sponsor and Vice President, Medicine, Emergency Services, Critical Care, Clinical Neurological Sciences and Corporate Nursing Executive. “We are looking forward to welcoming retirees back to connect with friends and colleagues and reflect on the milestones that have shaped our organization over the past century and a half.”

Supported by London Health Sciences Foundation, guests will enjoy light refreshments while sharing memories and reconnecting with those who have played an important role in LHSC’s legacy of great care, teaching, and research.

“As we look into the future, it’s important to carry the best of the past with us. We would not be the organization we are today without the dedication of the people who came before us,” adds Dr. Christie MacDonald, LHSC 150 Co-Executive Sponsor, Department Head of Emergency Medicine and Interim Vice Chair, Medical Advisory Committee. “This is a moment to thank our retirees for everything they have given to the patients and families we serve.”
