Physicians, Dentists and Midwives
London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is a health care organization with over 1,300 Credentialed Professional Staff (Physicians, Dentists and Midwives) and approximately 1,000 postgraduate Residents and Clinical Fellows.
With 17 clinical departments, LHSC provides acute clinical care to meet the needs of London and surrounding communities.
LHSC is also a teaching and research hospital that works in close collaboration with Western University, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and LHSC Research Institute. Some Credentialed Professional Staff obtaining hospital privileges will be also be appointed at the University in addition to their hospital appointment.
Upon initial recruitment, as directed by the clinical department, a Credentialed Professional Staff member joining LHSC will receive a detailed Hospital Application Package from the Medical Affairs department outlining the requirements needed to obtain hospital privileges.
Credentialed Professional Staff interested in obtaining hospital privileges will need to connect with the appropriate clinical department.

CREDENTIALING APPLICATION
Before submitting an application for hospital privileges, please ensure that you have received approval from the department Physician Executive Lead aligned to your specialty.
