When you arrive

• Arrive at the centre 2 hours before your surgery. If you are late your surgery may be cancelled or given to the next patient.
• Please enter the building through the main doors closest to Baseline Road (vs. the entrance from the main parking lot where the Life Labs patients are congregated) 
• We do offer free parking at the back of the building.  
• If you choose to have your support patient stay, please limit it to 1 person. Your support person will wait in the waiting room.

Discharge

• Once you are ready to leave, the nurse will call your ride to pick you up from the centre. They must pick you up and accompany you out of the building. You may require a wheelchair to leave the floor which will be provided and must be returned to the main lobby. 
• Please ensure your ride parks in one of the designated wheelchair parking spots at the front of the building. There are 2 spots on either side of the building. One at the entrance and one at the exit
• If you are taking a Taxi, Uber or public transit home, you must have a support person accompanying you.
