Arrive at the centre 2 hours before your surgery. If you are late your surgery may be cancelled or given to the next patient.
Please enter the building through the main doors closest to Baseline Road (vs. the entrance from the main parking lot where the Life Labs patients are congregated)
Do not enter the line up on the main floor to be screened prior to entering the building. This is solely for patients of Life Labs. LHSC patients will be screened on the 4th floor at Registration.
We do offer free parking at the back of the building.
Due to COVID-19 we will not allow family to come up to the waiting area while you are in the operating room at this time.
Discharge
Once you are ready to leave, the nurse will call your ride to pick you up from the centre. They must pick you up and accompany you out of the building. You may require a wheelchair to leave the floor which will be provided and must be returned to the main lobby.
Please ensure your ride parks in one of the designated wheelchair parking spots at the front of the building. There are 2 spots on either side of the building. One at the entrance and one at the exit
