The Medical Imaging team at LHSC is made of many professionals and our wonderful support staff. We look forward to helping you along in your health-care journey.
- Medical Radiation Technologists (MRT’s) and Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (DMS’s in Ultrasound) - these Technologists and Sonographers are specially trained and certified to take care of you and produce high quality images. All are registered members of the College of Medical Radiation Technologist in Ontario (CMRITO).
- Nurses - work in some of our areas (mainly Interventional and Nuclear Medicine). The care provided by our nursing team spans from initial assessment to induction, monitoring and recovery. They are registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians - these are Doctors with specialty training in the reading, diagnosing and treatment of disease through the use of different medical imaging techniques. Our Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians are all licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and affiliated with Western University's Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.
