Students and Teaching

At London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), we offer many opportunities for midwifery students in the Ontario Midwifery Education Program from McMaster University and Toronto Metropolitan University to complete their midwifery placements through our privileged MPGs, or to complete their interprofessional placements in a variety of settings at the hospital.

The Department of Midwifery takes great pride in training our future health care providers, and strives to offer excellent student experiences in our community. Many of our midwives hold Adjunct Clinical Professor status with the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University as well as the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and we also have several midwives with graduate training in health professions education.
