London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is a partner organization in the Ontario Workers Network (OWN).  

OWN is a provincial network of hospitals and experienced care providers that strives to provide world-class care for individuals who have been affected by a workplace injury or illness, in their own communities. OWN is one of the largest service providers of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and is connected by technology and shared learning. The network allows for collaborative care for injured workers, helping to ensure people can get back to work in a timely and safe manner by providing care closer to home.  

At LHSC, our OWN Clinic is a specialty program provider for WSIB in the following areas:

• Back and Neck  
• Lower Extremity

We also offer the following services:

• Occupational Health Hub (OHUB) – providing assessment and consultation services to support recovery and return to work.
• Specialized consultations (General surgery, pain management, vascular etc.).
• Treatment services for the above specialty programs (excluding consultations).  
• Functional integrated treatment (consisting of two to three health-care disciplines).
• Functional Ability/Capacity Evaluations (to help match abilities to work requirements).
