What is Personalized Medicine?

Personalized Medicine combines your genetics and other factors, such as diet and environment, to predict a more accurate drug treatment plan.

What is genotyping?

  • How a person’s individual genetic makeup (or genotype) for certain genes can be determined.
  • Knowing your genotype can help to determine whether you have normal, reduced or absent activity of specific genes, and are at a low, moderate or high risk of developing side effects from medications you are taking.
