Personalized Medicine Tests Offered
The Personalized Medicine Clinic offers a variety of genotyping tests and drug level measurements based on a patient’s individual medications.
Here are some of the tests we offer:
- Thiopurine methyltransferase (TPMT), Nudix hydrolase 15 (NUDT15) & human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genotyping for patients taking azathioprine (Imuran)
- HLA testing for predicting the risk of antibody formation during infliximab (Remicade) or adalimumab (Humira) therapy
- Other pharmacogenetic tests that may be helpful for predicting an individual’s metabolism for certain drugs.
Pantoprazole (Pantoloc, Tecta), lansoprazole (Prevacid), Rabeprazole (Pariet), Omeprazole (Losec), Esomeprazole (Nexium) and Dexlansoprazole (Dexilant)- Clopidogrel (Plavix)
- Warfarin dosing
- Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI) antidepressants
- Atomoxetine
- Statins (atorvastatin, rosuvastatin, simvastatin)
- NSAIDs (ibuprofen, meloxicam, celecoxib)

- Drug level measurements of select drugs, including:
- Endoxifen (active metabolite of tamoxifen)
