The post-secondary student volunteer application form will be open from January 1 to March 31, 2026. Applications submitted during this period will be considered for both of the following terms unless you indicate in the application that you are not available for one of them:
Spring/Summer term (May–August 2026)
Academic year (September 2026–April 2027)
If the application form is not available on this page, the application is closed and we are not accepting post-secondary student volunteer applications. To become a volunteer at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) or Children’s Hospital (CH), you must complete the application process listed below.
How to Apply
Step 1
- Complete the Volunteer Application Form
- You will be sent a confirmation email once your application has been processed.
Step 2
- Volunteer Services will send the Volunteer Reference Form to your two references. References are required and will not be accepted directly from the applicant.
Step 3
- Once the two references have been received, your application will be reviewed to determine where your skills, interests, and availability may be best suited.
- Please note that most of our shifts are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., so limited availability during these times impacts our ability to place you.
Step 4
- Once your application is reviewed, you may be contacted to discuss the opportunity to arrange a personal interview with a Volunteer Resource Specialist.
