Hospital Accountability Agreement Performance Standard
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has set a target of 80 percent full-time nurses to address the nursing shortage around the province and to reduce the heavy reliance on part-time and casual employment. As reflected on the graph, the ratio of full-time nursing hours to all nursing hours has been relatively consistent over time.
