At LHSC, fostering a culture of safety, respect, and accountability is integral to everything we do. To reinforce this commitment, we have introduced a new and more prominent Whistleblower Policy – an important resource that empowers Team LHSC members and stakeholders to speak up about serious concerns without fear of reprisal.
The policy affirms LHSC’s dedication to maintaining a safe and ethical workplace. It provides a confidential and protected avenue for individuals to raise concerns about potential wrongdoing, particularly in situations where they feel unsafe or uncomfortable doing so through regular reporting channels.
This is a resource for Team LHSC members and stakeholders who have either already attempted to have concerns regarding alleged wrongdoing addressed or who do not feel safe/comfortable raising the issue through other channels.
Concerns raised through the Whistleblower Policy may involve, but are not limited to:
- Fraud, theft, financial mismanagement
- Policy/code violations
- Malpractice, safety risks, or abuse of authority
- Suppression of information or improper contractor dealings
How to file a confidential report:
- Confidential email to: whistleblower@lhsc.on.ca
- Confidential letter addressed to: President and CEO, LHSC 800 Commissioners Road East, London Ontario, N6A 5W9
- Anonymously (if desired) leaving a message on the LHSC whistleblower hotline: 519-685-8500 extension 50094 (where “caller ID” functionality has been disabled)
- By reporting anonymously through ClearView Connect by email or phone at 1-844-936-6673
Please note that questions or concerns related to your or your loved one’s care should be addressed to our Patient Relations team at patientrelations@lhsc.on.ca rather than through these whistleblower contact methods.
