2023-2027 Strategic Plan

Driven by the tagline 'Great people. Great care.,' LHSC’s 2023-2027 Strategic Plan is our roadmap for how we will evolve alongside a changing health care system as we advance excellence in care, teaching and innovation. The Strategic Plan outlines a new vision, purpose and fundamental commitments for our organization as we remain guided by our values of teamwork, compassion, curiosity and accountability. 

A message from Dr. Jackie Schleifer Taylor, President and CEO    

At LHSC, we recognize that delivering great care requires us to adapt and evolve in the face of emerging challenges and opportunities. It’s been five years since the launch of our last Strategic Plan and so much has changed. From the pandemic to societal changes, the health care system is transforming.  

Developed in consultation with patients, families, community members, staff members, physicians, researchers and health system partners, the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan is LHSC’s roadmap for how we will evolve over the next four years. 

The Strategic Plan signifies our unwavering commitment to providing leading-edge health care services that are responsive to the changing needs of our patients, staff members, physicians and the communities we serve. It highlights how we will innovate and partner to advance our system of care. With a shared vision, purpose and strategic priorities, we are dedicated to transforming health, together.
