Dr. Joanna Laba is a Radiation Oncologist at the London Regional Cancer Program and Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University. 

 

Dr. Laba completed undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor with a BaSc in engineering.  She graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto in 2010 and subsequently completed a 5-year residency in Radiation Oncology at McMaster University.  Dr. Laba completed a fellowship in lung cancer and stereotactic radiotherapy at Western University.  She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and a member of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncologists.

 

Dr. Laba’s primary areas of clinical practice are in lung and hematological malignancies, palliative radiotherapy and advanced techniques for the treatment of brain and spine metastases.  Dr. Laba has a strong interest in education and is the Radiation Oncology Residency Program Director in the Department of Oncology.
