Why is my loved one here?

Patients are admitted to the Medical-Surgical ICU if they require careful monitoring of their vital signs, help to breathe, or their health problems are particularly complex.

They are usually very sick when they arrive in the MSICU and our staff are specially trained to deal with the needs of the critically ill.
