Jen Moniz is a nurse practitioner (NP) at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, who focuses on the care of patients with head and neck cancers undergoing radiation therapy. Jen started her career in 2015 when she graduated from the Western University BScN program and began working as an RN on the adult oncology inpatient unit here at LHSC. She found her passion for cancer care, and inspired by other oncology NPs, she wanted to continue her career in oncology. She graduated from Athabasca University MN-NP program in 2024. She has been working as an NP at the Cancer Centre since 2024. She supports the radiation oncologists in their follow-up and surveillance clinics as well as providing care and symptom management to patients throughout their radiation treatment.
