London Health Sciences Centre would like to express great sadness at the loss of Brian Beattie, a registered nurse colleague at Kensington Village, who passed away due to COVID-19. We continue to extend our support to our partners in Long-Term Care at this difficult time.
The loss of a nurse colleague to COVID-19 is devastating news for those of us working across the broader health-care community in London, and is especially saddening as we continue to celebrate National Nursing Week. To honour his life and express our collective grief for the loss, the flags at our organization have been lowered to half-mast today.
Our organization wishes to send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
