Movement Disorder Clinic

The Movement Disorders group is a unique, Canadian integrated neurology/neurosurgery research and treatment facility that offers a multidisciplinary approach to movement disorders, including speech and language pathology, neuropsychology, and physical therapies.

The Movement disorder Clinic is made up of a number of physicians, nurses, and researchers working together as a cohesive unit, to bring our patients the highest level of care possible. The clinic treats patients with motion disorders such as Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, dystonia, tremor, Tourettes Syndrome, Parkinsonism, ataxia, chorea and functional Movement disorders.

Referral Criteria

Referrals to the movement disorder clinic are assessed on a case-by-case basis rather than based on fixed criteria. All referrals are reviewed by specialists to determine clinical appropriateness.
