LHSC celebrates 600th heart transplant

(LONDON, Ontario) – Media are invited to attend a milestone event to learn more about the heart transplant program's recent accomplishments as it celebrates 30 years of performing heart transplants.

Physicians, surgeons and staff will be joined by many past heart transplant patients. Media interview opportunities will be available with one of the program's earliest patients from 1983 who will be returning to London from his home in Calgary, as well as one of the most recent patients who marked the program's 600th cardiac transplant.
