How to Donate Unused Home Care Medical Supplies

Do you have extra medical supplies or equipment left over from home care and aren’t sure what to do with them?

You may wish to consider donating these items to one of our LHSC Second Chance Supplies partners located in London and the surrounding region, who accept public donations.

Please refer to the list below to identify a suitable organization to contact and to arrange a pick-up or drop-off of your items.


Not Just Tourists

Not Just Tourists is a volunteer-based, non-political, non-religious, not-for-profit organization that collects surplus medical supplies from health-care professionals and institutions across Canada and the US. They pack and send suitcases with supplies through travelers to small medical missions in need around the world.

Together for Cuba

Together For Cuba provides tangible needs to orphanages, hospitals, local clinics and to individuals and families across Cuba. They focus on medical needs, food supply, basic daily needs, educational activities and ESL (English as a Second Language) education for the children, construction, and relationship building in the local communities.

Cuba Outreach Ministry

Cuba Outreach Ministry is a local Strathroy church group that brings food and medical supplies to Cuba. They have a team of 12 that all take two 50lb bags twice a year on their trips to help impoverished communities and health-care facilities in Cuba.

National Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation

The National Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation, located in Waterloo, Ontario, aims to improve the efficiency and capacity of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation partners by raising money for them and by providing formulas, food, supplies, equipment, and educational aides. They support organizations who rehabilitate wildlife.

London Valley Consistory Club

The Consistory Club is made up of Scottish Rite Freemasons. Their primary outreach is loaning medical equipment to those who require it, free of charge.


Goodwill

Goodwill Industries is a non-profit social enterprise that provides work opportunities, skills development and employee and family strengthening for people who face barriers such as disability or social disadvantage. Their aim is to advance individuals, families and communities toward economic self-sufficiency and prosperity.


ALS Canada

The ALS Society of Canada is working to change what it means to live with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), an unrelenting and currently terminal disease. Donated items from the ALS Canada Equipment Program are provided free of charge to people living with ALS in Ontario for as long as needed.
