About the CISV Peace Bus:
CISV (Children's International Summer Villages) is a global community of dedicated volunteers, with two hundred cities in 60 countries, creating opportunities for all ages to experience the enrichment of cultural diversity through unique peace educational programs. The Peace Bus mission is to educate and inspire action among Canadians for a more just and peaceful world. This will be accomplished by carrying out community oriented projects and organizing a series of activities and workshops across the country. The 12 youth delegates representing CISV chapters across Canada and three leaders will be billeted in CISV cities and camp the balance of the trip in national and provincial campgrounds as they discover Canada from sea to shining sea. The Peace Bus is primarily a camping, team building, volunteering and discovering Canada experience! Visit www.cisv.ca/peacebusCISV

About the London Police Services PEACE Program:
The PEACE program participants are eight secondary school students from various cultural backgrounds, selected through a formal application and interview process. The program is funded by the London Middlesex Optimist Clubs and YOU (Youth Opportunities Unlimited) fund the program, while the London Police Service provides coordination and administration for the duration of the program. The objectives of the PEACE Program are to reinforce and develop important life skills of the participants through exposure and instruction from members of the London Police Service. The program participants observe and assist in various aspects of policing to enhance their understanding of the role of the police in the community as well as law enforcement as a career.
