Lawson Health Research Institute launches new website

March 9, 2016

Lawson Health Research Institute is excited to announce the launch of its completely redeveloped public website. Lawson is the research institute of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

“As the institute’s most widely accessible communication vehicle, Lawson’s new public website is a strong platform to highlight the work of Lawson as a whole – what we do and why it’s important,” says Stacey Larizza, Chief Operating Officer, Research. “The website also reflects the strong collaboration between Lawson and our partners – hospital, academic, industry and many others.”

With updated navigation, advanced site search and robust content connections, visitors can quickly find valuable and useful information. The new website was built with a mobile-first focus, automatically responding to different devices for optimal experience.

Research at Lawson spans the continuum of life – from birth to death – and this is reflected in the main research themes and activities featured by the website. A searchable directory provides contact information and profiles of the institute’s scientists and clinician researchers.

Potential industry partners, collaborators, trainees and clients can find information on Lawson’s various capabilities, including facilities and technology, services, clinical research and business development. Patients, families and members of the community can learn about participating in clinical research

“Lawson takes a ‘bench to bedside’ approach to health research, with our researchers focusing their efforts on the development of new medical knowledge that can be applied directly to patient care,” says Larizza. “This new website showcases the work of our researchers and how hospital-based research in London changes the lives of people around the world.”
