London Health Sciences Centre bolsters financial and operational capabilities

LONDON, Ontario – London Health Sciences Centre today announced two executive level appointments to enhance its financial and operational effectiveness across the organization. This augmented capacity will enable LHSC to better respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, plan for post-COVID resumption of services, support the Ontario government’s health system transformation and collaborate more closely with regional partners.

Danny Tulip CFA will join LHSC in a contract role as Chief Financial Officer. Tulip’s experience spans both the public and private sectors. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and most recently as CFO of Royal Roads University. In addition to fulfilling CFO roles, Tulip was also the Vice-President of Finance and Planning at Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Also joining LHSC will be Bill Manson, in a contract role in the newly created position of Chief Administrative Executive. Manson has deep experience in the Ontario health sector, having served as Senior Advisor, Environmental Health at Public Health Ontario, Vice-President, Quality, Performance and Accountability and Senior Director, Performance Management, both for the Toronto Central LHIN. Manson holds an MBA from Ivey Business School (Western University) and a BSc in pharmacy. He began his career in health at LHSC as a pharmacist.
